CHANGES AT FIAT GROUP AUTOMOBILES SA
Giorgio Gorelli, Chief Executive Officer of Fiat Group Automobiles (FGA) South Africa, will add to his present duties at Fiat Group Automobiles South Africa, a new responsibility within FGA in Turin, effective immediately.
Oscar Rivoli, 40, has been appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Fiat Group Automobiles South Africa, effective immediately. Oscar Rivoli joined Fiat Group Automobiles South Africa in 1999, and has been on the Board of Directors since 2006.
NEW APPOINTMENTS AT NISSAN DIESEL
Masato Takizawa has been appointed CEO of Nissan Diesel South Africa. He takes over from Hiroshi Yokofujita, who is returning to Nissan Diesel in Japan, but will remain a member of the NDSA board. Takizawa has extensive technical and managerial experience, including a previous stint working at NDSA.
Johan Richards has been appointed chief operating officer, while Jacques Carelse has been appointed chief financial officer. Richards and Carelse will continue to serve on the NDSA board – the only South Africans to do so.
These appointments come as Nissan Diesel SA celebrates six years as a stand-alone company.
NEW PR CHIEF AT PEUGEOT SA
Antoinette (Toni) Herbst has joined Peugeot SA as general manager of its corporate affairs division, taking over from Lee Luck, who has taken up a position in Oman. Ms Herbst was previously employed in the public relations department at Toyota SA, where she has worked in various positions for almost 20 years.
MICHAELA LEAVES KIA
Kia PR Manager Michaela Pazdera is leaving her current position to relocate to Durban.
GUY KILFOIL MOVES TO MINI
Guy Kilfoil, currently the PR chief at BMW, will take over marketing of MINI from September 1. A successor will be announced shortly.
